Joining The Planning Group of the Northwest was a natural progression in her career. She also served as President of the Asian Connection Network, partnering with the Alaska Asian Cultural Center to promote community engagement and cultural awareness. In addition, Lisa volunteers with Bridge Builders of Anchorage and previously served as Events Chair for the Alaska Women's Network, supporting organizations such as STAR and AWAIC through fundraising and community outreach initiatives.

Personal Life

Lisa has been married to her husband, Richard, since 2004. Together, they have two children, Sarah and Ayden, along with three beloved dogs: two Miniature Dachshunds, Rosie and Roxie, and a Yellow Labrador, Rubie. Family is at the center of Lisa's life, and she treasures time spent with her close-knit family, including her mother, in-laws, five siblings, four nieces, and a nephew.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys getting lost in a good book, exploring different cultures through cooking, and traveling with family and friends. She values experiences and believes some of life's greatest joys come from trying new things and embracing opportunities as they arise.

A philosophy Lisa lives by is: "If it's meant to be, it will be. Just experience life." This outlook guides both her personal and professional life, encouraging her to approach each day with optimism, gratitude, and an open mind.
